Fifteen patients came along to the party, which was immaculately planned by staff nurses Carole Brown and Laura McKenzie. The patients attend the unit weekly on a Tuesday or Wednesday and a few go along on Thursday for the drop-in art sessions.
After a wee buttery or Christmas pie on arrival, they enjoyed a game of Christmas musical bingo which covered everything from Bing Crosby to Maria Carey!
A three-course Christmas lunch with all the trimmings was served by staff, assisted by volunteers Anne Brown, Fiona Leslie and Gordon Robertson. ArtRoom artists Donna and Neil also joined in the party.
As well as a slap-up lunch, Father Christmas helped everyone get into the mood with some festive gifts and greetings.
