Despite the scorching 28°C heat and limited substitutes, the players showcased incredible determination, ultimately raising £255 for Friends of Roxburghe House in memory of their storeman John Rush who passed away earlier this year.
John - a valued member of the Onesubsea family for over 20 years - was known for his warmth, reliability and ever-present smile. The team chose to support Friends of Roxburghe House as a testament to the care and comfort the local charity provided to John and his family during a difficult time.
“We loved playing in John’s memory and are so grateful to have had the opportunity to support such a worthy cause," said Robert Davidson, on behalf of the team.
“We’d also like to give a huge thank you to Danielle Cross, our Services Manager for Europe, for supporting us in taking part - it truly meant a lot.”
