The Station Hotel in Aberdeen was filled with style and spirit earlier this month as Inverurie lingerie store Katsize hosted a special Ladies Day to mark International Women’s Day.
Claire said: “We asked the models for ideas about charities they wanted to support that remained consistent with our brand and Friends of Roxburghe House came up a few times.
“When we agreed on the charity, everyone was delighted and many of the models spoke about how it had helped and supported them in times of need.”
She also expressed her pride in the models and the community: “Our amazing girls absolutely owned the Katwalk, strutting their stuff with confidence and style. To everyone involved, thank you for making it all possible, and to the amazing women who attended, you truly helped make the day so memorable. Your support means everything.”
The funds raised will go towards supporting the work at Roxburghe House, supporting the comfort and care of patients at the specialist palliative care unit.
Friends of Roxburghe House chairman Barbara Manson said: “We are incredibly grateful to Claire and the team at Katsize Lingerie for choosing to support us.
“This generous donation of £1,235 is a wonderful achievement and will help us continue to provide essential services, equipment and comforts for our patients and their families.
“It is heartening to see such a vibrant community event making a real difference.”
