The Improvement Tree can be found on the wall of Roxburghe House’s in-patient unit. It was commissioned to give service users (family, friends and patients) the opportunity to provide feedback about their experiences on anonymous “leaves”.

Putting People First is an invitation by NHS Grampian to invite all colleagues and citizens to contribute to improving services and help shape the future of health and care in Grampian.

And these images show the elegant way this is being put into practice.

Installed in December last year, the Improvement Tree was inspired by the birch trees that surround the buildings and was painted by Artroom artists Donna McCracken and Neal Macdonald.
