Secretary Helen steps down

She revealed that she had been responsible for the introduction of promotional Friends merchandise. Folllowing a request for branded pens to be given as wedding favours by a grateful family, she then realised she only had a week to source and design them and get them delivered but as usual, she rose to the challenge. 

She shared some of her memories of garden parties and said she had “enjoyed every minute” of her time with Friends.

“Being part of Friends for so many years has been like seeing a tiny bud turn into a beautiful rose,” she said. She was appropriately presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a gift to thank her for all her support.
