She had two lovely horses - Jimmy and Freddie - who, with the help of Jo’s family and friends, were able to come into the gardens of Roxburgh House on 21 May and visit Jo.
Jo was overjoyed to see her handsome boys again and with the help of staff, she was able to get partway in the garden so she could stroke them and they could nuzzle up to her.
It was a very emotional day for everyone involved and Jo and her family were grateful that staff could accommodate this wish for her.
Jo sadly passed away only 12 hours later.
