Remembrance Book

We each choose to remember those we have loved in a variety of ways, but should you wish, Roxburghe House keeps a Book of Remembrance for anyone who has had an association with either the Day or In-patient Units before their death.

The book is arranged with a special page for each person.

There is no charge for this service; all costs of printing and binding are gifted by FoRHG and are maintained by volunteers.

Families take great comfort from the inclusion of the name of their loved ones within the beautiful books and are welcome to visit and view the book at Roxburghe House at any time.

Memory boxes are another feature of care at Roxburghe House that FoRHG funds. These are beautiful boxes in which patients put precious and meaningful items.

To the people concerned they are a source of great comfort and contain things which are very special to their loved one.

Staff are able to work with patients and their families to perhaps suggest items which other families have found give solace at difficult times.

Remembering you is easy, we do it every day. It's just the pain of losing you that never goes away.
